Tips for 10x10 grids
Big grids reward patience. Do a full pass over all rows, then all columns, and only fill cells you can prove. On a 10x10 board a single crossed-out cell often unlocks a whole line, so mark empties as carefully as fills.
Where players go wrong on Level 42
- The longest line is Column 7 with the clue 10, and it is a full line: its blocks and gaps add up to the whole length, so fill it first and let it anchor the lines that cross it.
- Row 1 has the fewest filled cells (3). Cross out its empty cells early; they unlock 4 columns.
- The last line the logic finishes is Row 9. If you are stuck there, every other line is already done, so recount its clue 3.
